It was a bit of a scramble this morning, but I managed to score the tickets I wanted! So I will be seeing The Skinner Brothers on my birthday no less. I very rarely do anything for my birthday, so really looking forward to this one!
This will be the third year in a row that I've caught the tour, and the 4th time at a Skinner Brothers gig. Last year I took my camera with me to two gigs, and got a few really nice shots considering I've never done gig photography before (and I'm not super well equipped for indoor photography either).
Not sure that I will at Manchester, it's nice just to enjoy the show. But I might at Electric Ballroom in November. It'd be a shame not to capture them at that historic venue. Plus there'll be a whole bunch of us meeting up before the gig too, and it would be nice to have some photographic memories of that.
Camera or not, I can't wait!
